What is BRAINball™? BRAINball™ is an innovative and unique physical education learning system that merges physical activity and academic learning through play. Backed by 18 years of research, proving increased scores in math, spelling, and reading when you use BRAINball two times a week with your students. Instructors and students use 100 soft mini balls and 100 lesson plans to develop math, reading, grammar, spelling, anatomy, and foreign language skills. In addition to the physical benefits, significant improvement will be seen in gross and fine motor skills, cooperative and cognitive learning. BRAINball™ can be incorporated into Adapted Physical Education programs as well as those teaching students with learning disabilities, such as dyslexia.
What does BRAINball™ include? Each set includes a detailed lesson book filled with 100 games/activities. There are 40 green and 40 yellow basketballs – each group including the full alphabet, extra key letters, and numbers 0 – 9. Each ball has one upper and one lowercase letter, and one number. There are 20 soccer balls – 8 red, 8 blue and 4 orange. Each red and blue ball has 2 different math symbols, and the orange balls are blank and act as “wildcards.” Premium BRAINball™ carrying bags are also included with each set. Choose from 2 BRAINball variations – NEW foamed rubber or original rubber. Foamed rubber is softer, lighter, easier to transport, and less intimidating. Original rubber is best for those seeking a classic, indoor/outdoor rubber ball. Both variations can be used to learn and play all the same games.
